I'm Sanzhar — a Director of Engineering from Kazakhstan. I lead teams that build products, and I still write code myself. I believe the best engineering leaders stay close to the craft.

I took a week off to kickstart this project: a personal site that doubles as a living lab for tools I actually use in my daily life. Finance tracking, tennis court booking, football team management — real apps solving real problems.

What makes this different is radical transparency. Every feature is documented with the full decision trail: the product requirements, the design process, the AI prompts I used, what they cost, and the lessons I learned. I believe showing your thinking is more valuable than showing your output.

The design is inspired by the colors of the Kazakhstan flag — sky blue for openness, gold for warmth and energy. Even the color palette tells a story.
